Dehydrated Spaghetti Sauce
A tomato based spaghetti sauce with carrots, onion and mushrooms for use in the field. Add to ground beef and pasta to make a campsite spaghetti bolognese.

Ingredients
  1. Large can of diced tomatoes
  2. Large can of tomato paste
  3. Small can of tomato puree
  4. 1lb fresh tomato
  5. 1lb mushrooms
  6. 1 large onion
  7. Garlic powder
  8. Italian seasoning powder
Instructions
  1. Add all the ingredients to a large pan (I left the garlic and Italian seasoning until ingredients had cooked down as its easier to stir them in)
  2. Simmer at a medium heat until well cooked through (30 mins approx)
  3. Allow to cool
  4. Add to dehydrator trays
  5. Dehydrate on 135f 58c for 12-16 hours - a couple of times during drying break up the mix for even dehydration.
  6. Allow to cool and store until required
