Blood Mountain Cabins
get a few hikers together and stay for a well deserved rest!
Mountain Crossing bunk room was fully book and we was directed to Blood Mountain cabins. They were only 0.3 mile walk from the outfitters and the AT. I am glad they suggested we try here! We stayed in the Wolf Cabin (pictured) which could easily accommodate 6 hikers. It had shower room, two bedrooms, sofa bed, kitchen and deck. Cable TV in the living room and Wifi was available for free. If you plan to stay here and can muster some other hikers to share then it would work out less than $20 each! The store was stocked with treats and souvenirs including cold sodas and pizza! The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They took our dirty hiker clothes and washed/dried them as part of the stay. There was no computer available for guest use but Wifi is free in the lodge and we could connect from the cabin.
