Four Pines Hostel
Worth a stay and recover from Dragon's Tooth.
We hiked into Four Pines having done a long day including Dragon’s Tooth in serious heat! It was a great place to relax and recover. Although described as a three car garage its more than just a storage area. There are sofa’s and beds inside with fridge and stove. A bathroom with toilet and shower is also inside and when we was there a huge box of hiker food/drinks for free. You could tent outside and there were hammock supports in the barn. There were shuttles as needed to the local store which had resupply, beer/soda and burgers/pizza etc. We had some mail drops at Four Pines of which one was delayed, so Joe the owner drove the package to meet us further up the trail for free. This is a donation hostel. Despite the lack of facilities its worth staying at and taking a break.
